1984   Games of the XXIII Olympiad in Los Angeles (The United States)

To take the revenge on the American-led boycott of the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, the Soviet-led boycott of the 1984 Summer Olympics caused 16 Eastern Bloc countries to boycott these Olympics. Another highlight was that a marathon for women was held for the first time at the Los Angeles Olympics. Moreover, the theme song was composed and other Olympic related events were held to brighten up the Olympics.
